yes. i have spent 7 years paying for 1 child to go to a prvitae school and i am in the 6th year of paying for another of my children. i am on low wages and my husband is on disability. my daughter has now passed a honours degree and my son has passed 10 a grade gcse’s, so even though it is a great struggle and we have to juggle our income, i think it is worth it in the end. it would have been easier if the government had helped in some way.

There are so many factors in a ciredt score.  By paying off all your debt will not get you to 650.  They will also take in to consideration your income.  If you have 10 ciredt cards with $1000 ciredt limits that can hurt you as well.  Lenders want to know you will pay them on time so they are looking for a payment history with your current ciredtors.  650 is still sub prime so you may need to raise your score to 670-690 to qualify.FYI, most lenders take your mid score.  This means they pull all three scores and take the mid one.
